Advancing Clinical Capacity: DKT Mekong Strengthens Reproductive Healthcare in Cambodia

DKT MEKONG recently conducted a specialized MVA Plus training session at Tboung Khmum Hospital. The event successfully engaged approximately 50 midwives from the maternity, gynecology, and emergency departments.

The training program was strategically designed to:

  • Strengthen Post-Abortion Care (PAC) capacity within the hospital.

  • Reinforce safe-abortion protocols to ensure the highest standards of patient safety.

  • Introduce the Ipas MVA Plus® Kit, a gold standard in manual vacuum aspiration.

The high level of engagement and positive feedback from participants highlight a strong interest in integrating MVA Plus into routine clinical practice. This session not only reinforces the strategic partnership between DKT Mekong and Tboung Khmum Hospital but also underscores our unwavering commitment to advancing reproductive health services across Cambodia.
