A Vibrant Celebration of Women’s Empowerment

Phnom Fem Fest 2025 featured an impressive lineup of artists, musicians, dancers, and speakers, all dedicated to promoting gender equality. One of the festival’s highlights was the live music and dance performances, including Sang Sok Serey’s powerful debut song, Her Voice, which amplified the voices of Khmer women and encouraged conversations about gender norms.

Another key moment was the Chhab Slay discussion series, which challenged traditional gender expectations in Cambodia. Influential figures such as Catherine Harry, author So Phina, artist Chhan Dina, and student Lekh Karry led insightful conversations about gender equality, leadership, and empowerment.

DKT MEKONG’s Mission and Impact at the Festival

As an organization committed to improving sexual and reproductive health (SRH) through accessible contraceptive options and education, DKT MEKONG saw this festival as an incredible opportunity to connect with thousands of individuals and spread our mission.

At our booth, we engaged attendees through interactive mini-games and distributed over 100+ gifts to those who participated. This was an excellent opportunity for us to share our mission and products, while addressing numerous questions from students, young professionals, and NGO/INGO representatives.

DKT MEKONG’s Mission and Impact at the Festival

Many attendees showed a strong interest in contraceptive options, emphasizing the importance of informed reproductive health choices. We provided valuable insights on newChoice contraceptive products, including where to purchase them. Additionally, we connected with NGOs and universities, exploring potential partnerships for sexual and reproductive health (SRH) awareness programs.

Notably, two attendees expressed interest in implant insertion, and we facilitated their connection with CSA for further support. The event was a testament to our commitment to empowering individuals with knowledge and resources for safe reproductive health decisions.

We connected with NGOs and universities

By interacting with over 2,000 attendees, we reinforced our role as a trusted provider of SRH education and solutions, ensuring that more individuals have access to safe and effective contraceptive options.

Looking ahead to continuing our efforts in raising awareness, supporting communities, and fostering partnerships

Phnom Fem Fest 2025 was more than just a festival—it was a platform for meaningful discussions, cultural exchange, and collective empowerment. We are grateful for the chance to be part of this movement and look forward to continuing our efforts in raising awareness, supporting communities, and fostering partnerships that drive positive change.
