DKT Mekong was honored to collaborate with Assistant Professor Dr. KORN Aun (Head of the Gynecology Department, Calmette Hospital & President of CAGE), the Asia Pacific Gynecological Surgeons Association (APAGE), the Cambodian Association of Gynaecology and Endoscopy (CAGE), and Calmette Hospital to host the regional seminar titled: “Updating on Gynecologic Surgery, Abortion and Contraception in the New Era.”

Held over five days (11–15 August 2025), under the leadership of Professor Dr. KONG Sonya, General Director of Calmette Hospital, the seminar welcomed 380 healthcare professionals from across the Mekong region and provided CPD accreditation, reinforcing its high educational and clinical value.

This workshop brought together professors, clinicians from national and provincial hospitals, and medical students, creating a powerful platform for advancing skills in contraceptive methods, abortion care, infection prevention, IUDs, and Levoplant implant technologies — ultimately improving women’s access to safe and modern reproductive healthcare.
