DKT Mekong Conducts CME Training at the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology

As part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening the capacity of healthcare providers, DKT MEKONG successfully conducted a Continuing Medical Education (CME) training session at the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology—one of the leading reproductive health institutions in Vietnam.

Enhancing Clinical Skills Through Hands-on Training

The training drew the participation of over 60 OB-GYN doctors from the hospital as well as surrounding public and private medical facilities. Over two intensive sessions, participants received in-depth presentations and hands-on practice covering:

  • Manual Vacuum Aspiration (MVA)

  • Intrauterine Devices (IUDs)

  • newChoice Contraceptive Pills

Doctors had the opportunity to directly interact with equipment and devices, enhancing their clinical skills and confidence in providing safe, effective reproductive health services to patients.

Advancing Reproductive Healthcare Nationwide

Through CME initiatives like this, DKT Mekong continues to equip healthcare professionals with up-to-date knowledge, international best practices, and patient-centered approaches in family planning and safe abortion care.
