Strengthening SRH Capacity in Laos Through Clinical Roundtables

As part of our ongoing commitment to advancing sexual and reproductive health (SRH) across the Mekong region, DKT Mekong recently organized two impactful roundtable discussions with leading OB-GYN specialists in Laos.

The sessions brought together 60 healthcare professionals from two key institutions:

  • 103 Military Hospital, with participation from the Hospital Director and Head of Department

  • Mother and Newborn Hospital

These roundtables created a valuable platform for open clinical dialogue on contraception and uterine evacuation, supporting continuous learning and elevating the quality of reproductive healthcare services in the country.

During the discussions, DKT Mekong introduced several of our essential SRH products, including:

Participants also received hands-on guidance on correct usage and clinical application to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based patient care.

This initiative represents a significant step in empowering healthcare providers with updated knowledge, modern tools, and practical solutions—reinforcing DKT Mekong’s mission to support women’s health and expand access to high-quality SRH services across Laos.
