Beyond the Badge Pharmacist Scientific Training Conference

With a mission to create the world where all children are wanted, sex is great and people are free, DKT International is making great strides in Vietnam. This mission is taking shape through our comprehensive IEC programs, where we empower healthcare providers with advanced training in contraceptive technologies and safe abortion practices. By enhancing their knowledge and expertise, we aim to strengthen their ability to provide nuanced counsel on SRH, ensuring greater access to modern, high-quality, affordable, and safe contraceptive solutions for all.

That’s why DKT MEKONG – Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos with Golden Choice were thrilled to sponsor and participate in the Pharmacist Scientific Training Conference on October 11th, 2024, at the Adora Conference Center, Ho Chi Minh City. This event offered an exciting opportunity for pharmacists to advance their skills in pharmaceutical practice at retail pharmacies and engage with key industry leaders.

The conference, attended by over 2,600 pharmacists from HCM city and Southern provinces, provided essential knowledge on medication consultation, pharmacy management, and pharmaceutical law. We were honored to have Pharmacist Specialist Level I, Huynh Cong Duong, Deputy Chairman of the HCMC Pharmacy Association, lead a session on “The Important Role of Pharmacists in Advising Patients on Safe and Effective Contraception Solutions.”

This conference provided an invaluable platform for us to connect with pharmacists and doctors, promoting access to our modern, safe, and affordable contraception and STI prevention solutions. We are immensely grateful to the HCMC Pharmacy Association, Pharmacist Huynh Cong Duong, and all 2,600 participants for making this event a success.
