Empower Her: Elevating Women’s Health Through Knowledge And Action

DKT MEKONG are thrilled to recap the success of our recent seminar, Empower Her, which brought together HCPs including medical doctors and pharmacists to enhance sexual and reproductive health (SRH) outcomes in Cambodia.

Under the expert guidance of Assistant Professor KORN Aun, MD, AFSA, OBGYN, Chair of CAGE, and Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Calmette Hospital, this seminar became a platform for meaningful dialogue and knowledge exchange among HCPs.

The seminar featured engaging discussions on essential topics such as SRH, HIV/STIs prevention, modern contraception, family planning and the economic benefits of women’s informed participation in the workforce. Attendees also received valuable updates on the latest trends and evidence-based practices in modern contraception and safe abortion.

During seminar, H.E Prof. KORN Aun highlighted that Pharmacists play a crucial role in delivering SRH education, offering counseling, providing modern contraception, and dispelling misconceptions surrounding modern contraceptive methods.
