Celebrating World Contraception Day

On this World Contraception Day, DKT MEKONG – Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos feels a deep sense of gratitude as we join a significant celebration organized by the Ministry of Health and the UNFPA Asia and the Pacific (UNFPA) at Vientiane Center, Lao PDR, on September 25, 2024.

This heartfelt gathering brought together a vibrant tapestry of students, government officials, and local residents, all united in their commitment to fostering awareness around reproductive health and family planning. With over 200 attendees, the event underscored the pressing need for accessible and affordable contraceptive options for everyone.

🤝 In the spirit of collaboration, we are proud to work alongside the Promotion of Family Health Association (PFHA) to provide OK condoms and Fiesta condoms to attendees. We were overjoyed to see the warm reception these products received, particularly from the enthusiastic youth participants, further fueling our passion and commitment to offer modern, high-quality, safe, and affordable contraceptive solutions to the people of Laos.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to PFHA and the Ministry of Health for allowing us to be part of this meaningful event. Sharing these valuable contraceptive products with the community is a privilege that strengthens our commitment to to improving the quality of life and building a healthier future for generations in Laos.
