At DKT MEKONG – Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, we believe in the strength of shared goals and values. To warmly welcome new members to our growing team, we recently held an exciting Orientation Day on Sep 30 and Oct 1 at our new Ho Chi Minh office. This special event provided newcomers from our hashtagVietnam, hashtagCambodia and hashtagLaos operations with a deeper understanding of DKT vibrant and unique company culture, and goals.
The day kicked off with an inspiring session led by our Regional Director, Mr. Rodrigo Portugues. He shared DKT Mekong’s vision and emphasized our collective purpose: “Same vision, same goal. Together, you are the driving force of DKT Mekong.” Mr. Rod also spoke passionately about our 6 core values:

Following this motivational session, we explored DKT Mekong’s impactful achievements and our ambitious 5-year goals, uniting all employees toward our common mission: to sustainably provide the people we serve with safe, affordable choices and create a world where all children are wanted, sex is great, and people are free.
Subsequently, Ms. Kendy Tran, our HR and Admin Manager, provided insights into DKT Mekong’s inclusive culture, employee benefits, and support systems, ensuring that every team member is valued and empowered to thrive in their new role.
Ms. Thanh Nguyen, our Regional Social Marketing Director, shared DKT Mekong’s dynamic marketing efforts and upcoming activities to educate and inform users and healthcare professionals. This was followed by an engaging session by Ms. Quynh-Chi Ha, our Regional Distribution Director, who emphasized new ways to increase product accessibility and availability for all.
Through a series of practical training, including visits to pharmacies, we gained a real-world perspective on improving access to hashtagcontraceptive products. The technical insights continued with Ms. Yinn Mar Phoo, our hashtagSRH Technical Advisor, who guided us through detailed product training, ensuring everyone was confident in adopting and promoting life-changing behaviours.
📕 The day wrapped up with crucial operational, financial, and legal training led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha and Ms. Dam Thi Hao, ensuring new team members have the knowledge they need for smooth, successful work.
And of course, no DKT event is complete without fun! We ended the day with food, laughter, great conversations and a little bowling competion to strengthen bonds and create memories true to our culture. 💫
